Quality Inspector (6am - 2:30pm) - (LP11267)

Safely performs in-process inspections to monitor and evaluate manufacturing quality, distinguish product quality concerns that might deter customer satisfaction, while using effective communication
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines:
1. Performs in-process inspections to support manufacturing operations.
2. Utilizes scales, jigs and "go-no go" gauges to conduct required inspection checks.
3. Communicates suspect or quality defects with team members, leads and Supervisors.
4. Performs all required specification checks per unit/per section.
5. Experience with calipers, height stands, and basic measuring tools
6. Able to read and interpret blueprints
7. Clearly and consistently documents all non-conformance findings on quality inspection check sheets.
8. Maintains 5S compliant work areas
9. Supports ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
10. Performs special projects as requested and related tasks as needed.
As assigned.
High school diploma or GED.
1. Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
2. Previous experience utilizing QA Manuel's.
3. Basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
4. Extensive knowledge of KTC products with regards to assembly process, parts, QA requirements, and functions is a plus.
5. Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with little to no oversight.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
EQUIPMENT OPERATION (% of time, description, nature of service):
Scales, jigs and "go-no go" gauges, as well as, office equipment including computer, copier, fax, phone, printer.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member must have the ability to work in extreme hot or cold conditions, stand for the duration of the shift, uses hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; ascend stairs; balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk and hear. In addition, the team member must occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
