Product Implementation Supervisor

PURPOSEThe Product Implementation Supervisor supervises Analysts and product support personnel to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day claims processing and the quality of front-line interactions with both internal and external customers.
This person serves as both a responsible supervisor and subject matter expert for the Product Support Help Desk; product and plan schedule creation, testing, and maintenance; and the claims systems of the IS Department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS20%Supervise:
Recruiting, developing, and managing the time of analysts and support staff to meet or exceed stated service-based Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) and project deadlines while maintaining quality.
20%Leadership:
Leading teams of developers, analysts, and technicians to plan, execute, and deliver solutions to our internal or external customers.
20%Product Configuration:
Creating and maintaining products, plan schedules, benefits, and related information.
10%Architecture/Planning:
Working with Architecture and Planning team to improve specifications, capture use-cases, lay out execution timelines, and give feedback for continuous improvement.
10%Analysis:
Working with business subject matter experts to find out how a new or existing system-supported process should function.
10%Documenting:
Creating and maintaining systems documentation, including troubleshooting guides, process guides, user information, and technical documents.
10%QA/Software Testing:
Working with analysts and developers to create and perform link and unit testing on new programs.
In addition to the requirements of Product Implementation Analyst III, one needs:
A minimum of 3 years professional experience as an expert technical trainer (training analysts) or equivalent team leadership experience.
A minimum of 1 year professional experience planning, leading, and executing IS projects on-time and within budget.
Expertise in utilizing and training others in implementing a production health benefit claim system The proven ability to plan, lead, and execute projects on-time and within budget.
Flexibility to juggle multiple projects with ongoing support work and prioritize work to meet evolving deadlines.
Ability to work on special projects as assigned.
Understanding of assignment of workflow or serve as backup to Director for the assistance of workflow.
A strong desire to mentor other staff members even as you continue to learn and embrace new skills.
The ability to seek feedback and to iterate upon solutions, both as part of a team and as an individual contributor.
